4. Accidents and Emergencies

Adequate and sufficient provision must be provided for in the event of workplace accidents and emergencies. Competent persons must be appointed, equipment supplied and depending upon the nature of the injury, it may have to be reported to the authorities. All employees should be aware of their role and courses of action to take.
